Brumbaugh Appraisals is committed to preserving the public trust inherent in the appraisal process. The purpose of the Code Of Ethics And Competency Appraiser Awareness Program is to protect the public from unsubstantiated or questionable machinery and equipment appraisals.  Our seal serves to alert the public to the documentation we know is necessary to prove that an appraiser is competent.  This assures an appraisal will be substantiated, accurate, irrefutable, defensible and will withstand all scrutiny.

It is critical to retain the services of a certified appraiser in order to guarantee the highest possible levels of accuracy and integrity.  A certified appraiser will adhere to the following four points:

Certification – Our Appraisers comply with the certification and recertification requirements of the ASA, CVA and EECA.

Ethical Obligations – All appraisal reports developed by Brumbaugh Appraisals are USPAP compliant and we hold ourselves to the highest standards when serving our clients.

Independence & Objectivity – Every appraiser from Brumbaugh Appraisals is an advocate only of the appraisal itself – never any person or organization.  Regardless of the circumstances, we maintain our objectivity and independence.

Defensible Appraisal – Our Appraisals and Valuations are comprehensive and well substantiated, making them useful to users such as the IRS, lenders, buyers, sellers, courts, CPAs, and attorneys.
