The Appraisal Process

Brumbaugh Appraisals begins our process with a detailed discussion to find out the precise scope of the assignment and specific items that require evaluation.

From there, your Brumbaugh Appraisals appraiser assesses the equipment in question, drawing on experience, expertise, methodology of appraisal and specific guidelines for determining values.  The end result for our clients is an accurate, substantiated, defensible and irrefutable certified appraisal.

When the evaluation is concluded, our clients receive a USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) compliant report.  This document includes specific required information about the subject property that will withstand scrutiny of the IRS, lenders, courts, attorneys, CPAs and others.

At Brumbaugh Appraisals, our assignments don’t end until every question has been answered.  We follow up delivery of our USPAP-compliant report with a detailed client conversation, to ensure that our findings are understood.  Further, our appraisers stand behind every evaluation and are available to answer additional questions and discuss our assessments, whenever such a discussion is necessary.
